Place Of Birth And Family Background

Muhammad SAW PBUH was born in MECCA now KSA Kingdom of Saudia Arabia around 570 AD or June 0632. MUHAMMAD SAW was raised by his grandfather and uncles as His father died six months ago before his birth. MUHAMMAD SAW was in a poor but respectable family of the QURAISH tribe. QURAISH was active in MECCAN trade and politics.

Early Age Of MUHAMMAD SAW PBUH

Following the footsteps of many people of His age, He worked in a camel caravan. Muhammad SAW gained commercial trade experience by working for His uncle traveling to SYRIASyria and eventually from the Mediterranean Sea to the Indian Ocean. While trading MUHAMMAD SAW earned the title”AL-AMIN” meaning

faithful or trustworthy as Muhammad SAW was the most honest person in the world.

Conditions Of Arabs At That Time

At that time there were tribes in Saudia Arabia. Most people in that time worship the idols and were savage. Most Arabs at that time were illiterate and fight for little things and this fight ran in the families resulting in mass casualties in the tribes. There were rules and regulations in the tribe the only rule was “MIGHT IS RIGHT”.

There were no rights to the women in the tribe and they were treated like a slave and most of the girls was buried alive after birth. This was the situation At that time in the tribes.

The First Marriage Of MUHAMMAD SAW PBUH

MUHAMMAD SAW started working for a rich trader woman named KHADIJA TUL KUBRA in HIS early 20s. By the honesty of MUHAMMAD SAW she was so impressed so she was soon attracted to this young well-accomplished man

and send a marriage proposal to MUHAMMAD SAW  At that time age of MUHAMMAD SAW was 25 years and the age of the KHADIJA TUL KUBRA was 40 years.

Muhammad SAW accepted the marriage proposal and over the years of happy union brought several children. Not all children lived to adult but one HAZRAT FATIMA R.A . Hazrat FATIMA R.A was married to Hazrat ALI R.A.

She was the mother of HAZRAT HASSAN and HAZRAT HUSSAIN.

Prophet MUHAMMAD SAW PBUH And Preach Of Islam

Muhammad SAW PBUH was very religious from an early age and occasionally go to the sacred sites near MECCA of that time. In 610, he was meditating on one of his pilgrimages in a cave on Mount Jabal aI-Nour. The Angel JABRAIL A.S appeared and stated the word of God: “Recite in the name of your Lord Who creates, creates man from a clot! Recite for your lord is most generous….” AL.QURAN CHAP 96

Later these words became the verses of the HOLY QURAN.

Most of the ISLAMIC HISTORIAN says that HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW was initially disturbed and came shivering to HIS home and told HIS wife HAZRAT KHADIJA TU KUBRA R.A. HAZRAT consoled HER husband.

The first person to believe was HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW wife, KHADIJA TUL KUBRA, and HIS close friend Hazrat  Abu Bakr Siddique and HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW cousin HAZRAT ALI R.A was the youngest one to believe and was just 10 years old at that time.

Reaction Of The Mecca’s People And Initial Hardships

 Most of the people in Mecca at that time either ignored HIS preach of ISLAM or mocked HIM as just another prophet.SO, However, when HIS  message condemned idol worshipping and polytheism, many of Mecca’s tribal leaders began to see Muhammad and HIS message as a threat to their traditions. The condemnation of idol worship had economic consequences for merchants who came from different parts of the world. Merchants and leaders offered Muhammad incentives to abandon his preaching, but he refused as they were seeing threats in the future.

Migration To The Madina

After all this, the  Arabs tribe started to threaten  Muhammed and his followers and started boycotting morally and ethically and MUHAMMAD and HIS followers were eventually forced to emigrate from Mecca to Medina, a city 418.4-kilometers to the north in 622. This event marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar as a Hijri calendar. MUHAMMAD SAW and HIS followers settled in Medina, building community and gradually gathering acceptance and more followers it was all because of MUHAMMAD SAW preaching results and HIS polite behavior.in between 624 and 628, the Muslims were involved in a series of battles for their survival all of these battles were from the ARABS tribe against the PROPHET PBUH just to reduce HIS followers they all were failed in these battles because people were converting to the ISLAM now and they started to know their rights and believe in ALLAH. It was the results of MUHAMMAD SAW preaching and good manners that many people started to enter in the circle of ISLAM.

Conquest of Mecca

By now, Muhammad had plenty of forces and the balance of power had shifted away from the Meccan leaders to him due to HIS polite behavior. In 630, the Muslim army marched into Mecca with minimum casualties. Muhammad gave amnesty to many of HIS enemy Meccan leaders who had opposed HIM  morally physically and ethically and pardoned many others. Resulting this most of the Meccan population converted to Islam. Even the bitter enemies of MUSLIMS and ISLAM were forgiven. There is no example of such forgiveness to the enemies in the history of mankind. conflict with Mecca was finally settled and most of the people entered the circle of ISLAM or accepted ISLAM. In  March, 632, he delivered his last sermon at Mount Arafat.

This sermon is considered as the best sermon of mankind as this sermon was not only for the Muslims but for the whole of mankind as MUHAMMAD SAW is the last prophet of ALLAH and the prophet of the whole world as after MUHAMMAD SAW there will be no more prophet to come till the day of judgment. This sermon gives the complete code of life and equality to everyone whether for Muslims or non-muslims.

Death of Prophet MUHAMMAD SAW PBUH

After HIS return to Medina to HIS wife’s home, MUHAMMAD SAW fell ill for several days. He died on June 632, at the age of 63.

Grave/Tomb Of Prophet MUHAMMAD SAW PBUH

MUHAMMAD SAW was buried at Madina Munawara a city of Saudia Arabia in Masjid an-Nabawi (the Mosque of the Prophet). This was the first-ever mosque built by MUHAMMAD SAW in Madina.
